A weak digestive system coupled with overeating or eating heavy,
spicy foods leads to dyspepsia. Delayed digestion of such foods
leads to putrefaction of the matter in the stomach and the intestines.
There is a feeling of an extremely full stomach, loss of appetite
and general discomfort. The patient may feel nausea as well. Belching
leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
Suggested Treatment:
In the case of nausea, induce vomiting by taking warm salty lukewarm
water. After the patient has vomited, he should be given 3 gm of
white cumin seeds and 1 gm of salt with 10 ml of vinegar. If nausea
still persists, a brew of 6 gm of mint leaves boiled in water adding
3 gms. of small cardamom is added should be given to the patient
to drink.
